Evenings out call for the perfect little black dress. Black is thinning, universally flattering, sexy and understated. (Below on right) my favourtie find, this sexy black peplum dress was purchased at an adorable little plus boutique called Gussied Up at Bathurst and Dupont. My body has it's trouble areas, especially in the middle and the peplum covers up my spare tire and smooths my hips. The fabric is stretchy, but sleek, the leather detail makes this a really sexy dress for a date night. I added a cami underneath for modesty. I love the way the dress adds curves. I always wear spanx with a body con dress, just to make sure there are no unsightly bumps. (Bottom on left) Is a cute little black dress I had shipped in from Yours Clothing in the UK...I just checked, and the dress is currently on sale for $28.00 (total steal) Yours Clothing has some great variations of the same dress. The necklace is detachable, so it doubles as a work dress and looks great under jacket or with a shrug. Go bright with your shoes. Black dress, red or silver heels, smokey eye....stunning....
