2016 Autumn Fashion Trends ... plus picks
I checked out the runway looks from NY fashion week for Fall/Winter 2016 and it's not been easy to narrow down the trends. Anything and everything walked down the runway from 80's glam rock looks (Saint Laurent), strange fur laden, embroidered Goth dolls (Marc Jacobs), to velvet encased renaissance women ( Gucci) Trends are not pointing towards minimalist. The next problem is trying to find a way to wear a trend in everyday life. I tried my best!

OFF THE SHOULDER
If you love your shoulders, and want to try this trend, Kiyonna has an adorable little cold-shoulder top that has a little bit of crochet, also on trend.I love how the top offers a longer sleeve. (Only problem with cold shoulder tops is that it's hard to hide the bra straps.)

CHOKERS
Chokers are back, and I'm not talking about the tiny piece of ribbon/ meant to look like a tattoo choker we all wore in the 90's. There are heavy, bold collar-like monstrosities. Unless you have a neck like a gazelle ( I don't) this might not be the most flattering look. This isn't a trend I'm likely to follow, but, there seems to be an interest in dressing up the neck this year. I may switch to more scarves.
