Autumn Classic
There's something to be said about understated elegance or clothing that doesn't look like it's wearing you. Annie know what she loves. She's constantly on the move, from working on sculptures in her studio to attending Art openings and Gala's promoting her latest work. Most days she lives in jeans and for special events she loves fabrics that flow and fabrics that have interesting textures. (below) How perfect is this dress and leaf motive vest that she found in a clothing Boutique in Tobermory Ontario. It's beautiful, easy to pack into a suitcase on the go.
The store Marco Polo is a bohemian's dream, branching out of a green and white house, lee-side of the harbour. They specialize in unique dresses, jewellery and knit wear. If you stop in, do yourself a favour an buy a pair of the knitted heavy socks, in winter they are a small piece of heaven to have around the house. We also purchased bamboo wind-chimes here, so many unique items that transport you to another place, (just like the trader/ explorer Marco Polo)

Another of Annie's favourite haunts is a store called Maurices. They carry plus size boho blouses, perfect pairings with jeans. Inexpensive, on trend and fun. Maurice also has a great line of jeans for plus size gals, everything from jeggings to bootcut from clean dark washes to distressed. Maurices offers clothing in sizes 1-24 and fit all shapes. Maurices has 1,000 stores in the US and Canada.
